  • Electric toothbrush. With its rapid motion, an electric toothbrush is more effective than a traditional toothbrush at removing stains.   • Bleach trays and whitening strips. Bleach trays (at-home or dental office options) and whitening strips are by far the quickest way to whiten your smile. They utilize peroxide and other whitening agents to specifically lift existing stains from your teeth. Usually they have to be kept on the teeth for up to an hour at a time. Safe for traditional braces? No - Bleach trays and whitening strips may weaken or damage traditional braces. Additionally, because they cannot reach beneath the brackets of traditional braces, you will be left with inconsistent results. If you’re interested in using bleach trays or whitening strips, it’s best to wait until your traditional braces have been removed. Safe for Invisalign users? YES.
